Former Marine Combat Veteran Adam Nance and his wife Jennifer Mena.
Jennifer handles the technical details regarding the foundation while Adam focuses on the community outreach.
In 2020, on a cross country road trip, Adam thought how great it would be if he was able to stop along the way and meet up with others that served. That idea sparked him to want to create a specific app exclusively for those that are currently serving and that have served. Hearing the idea, Jennifer, thought we should expand this service to into a complete organization focused around lowering the daily suicide rate among veterans. Deciding to leave her overseas corporate job due to the strong urge to help the veteran community, she brought the technical knowledge needed in this endeavor. Culminating in the creation of Lower 22 Foundation.
We aim to streamline communication among those that served. To keep those close bonds that were created while serving together. Provide monthly giveaways as a way to say thank you for doing what so few had the courage to do. Finally, helping veteran owned businesses reach a like-minded audience.
